Northeast Central Ohio (NECO) Pandemic Influenza Functional Exercise (Feb 2007)
Mr. Wallace as a sub-contractor to the Patriot Group USA assisted with the exercise design committee in the design, implementation, hot wash, and after-action review of the NECO pandemic influenza functional exercise.
Mass Prophylaxis Clinic Kit (2006)
In the spring of 2006 Cuyahoga County, Ohio awarded the Brasco Group a contract to produce 77 Mass Prophylaxis Clinic Kits. These kits will be used to activate the points of distribution (PODs) for communitywide distribution of antibiotics and/or vaccines in the event of a widespread naturally occurring or terrorist related biological event. These kits, which included eight boxes each, for a total of 616 boxes, were distributed throughout Cuyahoga County.
Cities Readiness Initiative Communications Training and Tabletop Exercise (2006)
The Brasco Group designed and then facilitated / evaluated the City of Cleveland’s CRI communications training and tabletop exercise. This training and table top exercise was successfully conducted in May 2006, and involved the evaluation of three different communication systems and use of the city’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
Safety and Security Audit, and Training for the Cleveland Municipal School District (2005-2006)
The Brasco Group conducted a safety and security audit for the Cleveland Municipal School District. In addition to a Safety Manual “gap” analysis and site audits of sixty schools, the Brasco Group also conducted exercises and training in areas such as the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and bio terrorism incidents. The Brasco Group also created the districts new emergency quick reference guide.
NE Ohio Regional Medical Response System (RMRS) Bio-Exercise (2005)
The Brasco Group developed, implemented and evaluated the North East Ohio RMRS bio-terrorism exercise. This five county exercise was successfully conducted in late August 2005, and involved the evaluation of 11 different locations to include both County Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) and city and county Health Department command centers.
Cities Readiness Initiative - Cleveland, Ohio (2004-2005)
The Brasco Group developed the City Readiness Initiative Plan (CRI) for the City of Cleveland. This plan involves the city’s capability to implement an Oral Anthrax Vaccine Delivery Project under the Federal Strategic National Stockpile Program. The Brasco Group Ltd. was the only private corporation invited to participate in the initial 21 pilot cities program by providing Cleveland, Ohio the logistical planning and associated services for their CRI Project. This project included the successful conduct of a tabletop exercise in August of 2005.
